Installation crew is luck of the draw based on other reviews I read. I apparently got the bottom of the barrel with many major issues, Adding to this the repairs will only take place if the crew has another job in your area. The first repair "attempt" happened in about 2 weeks after install- only 1 issue was fixed, photo attached of a siding panel listed as repaired still show the fasteners completely missing the rail, trim is not secured, door does not work, etc... Now I am told another repair will happen soon- when I asked what soon means the response was within 6-8 weeks depending on when another job is scheduled in the area. I had numerous emails trying to get resolution and I'm sure HQSS will state they are trying to work with me - but they have no sense of urgency to make things right. If you spend almost $20k for a structure you would think the panels would be secure, trim would stay attached, doors and windows will work and there are no roof holes. I doubt anyone will show up to repair

Their prices were good, but watch the installers... I ordered a 30x50x12 building with 4ft on centers. The 50ft walls, they did correctly. The 30ft walls, they did 5ft on centers. I failed to notice this while they were doing the install. It wasn't until after I had spray foam done that I noticed it. Tried contacting HQSS, but never heard back from them. I at least wanted a refund of what I paid to have 4ft on centers on those 2 walls. Be careful!!

I was 6 months behind purchasing my husband a man cave due to 5 deaths in my family and friends. I absolutely was in no state to make a big purchase at Christmas. So I went to one local place and they wanted to take FULL advantage of not only of me being a woman but of my recent losses. They wanted to charge me $20K for a wooden building and $2K of that was to switch from nails to wood screws. I got up laughing when I walked out. I went to another place right up the road and got a quote for $10K for a bigger building than I anticipated but it took 3 visits and umpteen phone calls to even get a final number and when I went to make the down payment all of a sudden there was a problem with my foundation. A brand new cement pad that was done by PROFESSIONAL COMMERCIAL CEMENT LAYERS. So I called the cement guy and told him how he had a problem with his work. He referred me to High Quality Steel Structures and when I called it was like a breath of fresh air. I told Jacob exactly what I wanted and that I already had a cement pad for the building. He had a quote worked up and emailed to me before we even hung up. I made the down payment and immediately received an email with instructions for next steps! Next thing I knew Tracey was calling me to finalize the details and get a tentative date set for installation and what was expected on my part AND THEIRS! Tracey was AWESOME! Every time I had a question not only did she answer but she answered PROMPTLY! Installation started on a Friday and it was raining and they still got started. The crew came back on Saturday and finished. The crew was polite, considerate and VERY FAST! I could not have asked for a better experience. But I got one cause they saved me $3k!!!!!!!!!! So if you are a woman and looking for a transparent honest contractor that won’t take advantage of you and will explain everything and answer all of your questions…….don’t walk or run, simply pick up the phone and call High Quality Steel Structures and get QUALITY work for your money! I recommend them to anyone, any day and twice on Sunday!
