We purchased our NC steel building online and by phone with Ryan from sales. This involved making some changes back and forth, as we fine tuned the drafts to reflect the exact building that we had in mind. Ryan was great to work with and the finished product turned out just as planned. We had a well prepared site and pad completed prior to ordering and shared site photos. We ran into a first attempt delivery snag due to unpredictable weather and our very rural mountain neighborhood but were able to get rescheduled and installed the next week. The crew worked hard and consistently and had the job completed in one long day. It’s only a few days old but this far we are extremely pleased. It’s difficult to review so early in the process but I feel the company has been available, honest and kept very good communication with us through the process. We also have a carport from several years ago from another company that we also are very pleased with but they were unable to match NC Steel Building price by a considerable amount. If our product wears as well and remains as durable and attractive, it will be money well spent. The warranty seems to provide for any future concerns. I’d recommend NC Steel Buildings.

I want so badly to give 5 stars – and there are aspects of the process that definitely deserve 5 stars – but I’ll explain why I am giving 4 stars.

First, the sales rep Luis has been fantastic. All the ladies in the office that I’ve talked to on the phone have been fantastic. The building came out looking great and they exceeded expectations on timeline and speed.

The thing that was frustrating was that it wasn’t very clear in their documents how to measure the drip edge for the concrete foundation and all of the information I sent over to our concrete company before the building went up was apparently not clear enough. I’ve never done this before so I didn’t know the questions to ask for specs to look for – I just trusted that the building company and concrete company would be able to decipher the information and ask the appropriate questions. Apparently not. Looking back through our agreement, I did find that hidden deep in the financial portion of the agreement it specifies that the drip edge is in addition to the slab and not the exact measurements for the building. But only after we had to inconvenience the install crew and make them turn back around to the shop and Cut our materials to be smaller and pay a restocking fee because our concrete slab was slightly too small. Our fee was 15% of the building price so not a small fee either. Super frustrating. We tried to do everything right and make sure the concrete guys had all the info they needed and we still missed that somehow. For future customers, I hope they make it clear what the ACTUAL measurements need to be for their concrete slab so they don’t have to go through the same thing.

Thank goodness, they were so speedy in getting our materials cut and were able to come back just two days later to install the building. That was crazy turnaround time and we are so grateful. They also were missing one piece of material at the end and they came all the way back the next morning to finish the job.

We are not located in the most convenient place – about 6 hours from their office in the middle of nowhere Tennessee so I know they made a bunch of early morning trips and had some long days. Grateful for them!

I looked around and spoke with a lot of different metal building construction companies. I shopped for about year before I made a final decision. But there was a difference when I spoke with Logan over at Nc Steel buildings out of Mt.Airy NC. I’m located down in South Carolina and he said oh yeah we do work in your area. It was still winter out and he said it looked like snow coming his way and some snowboarding would probably follow. We chatted awhile that day and I told him the type of building I kinda envisioned and he went to work and dialed in on what I wanted. We spoke multiple times and took our time over the course of a few months just to make it right and me making the finances right for the build. He sent diagrams and different types of models and we shaped it up and made some changes here and there and then I changed it up some more and honestly I probably changed it up some more on other things. That’s because he took the time to make it right and wanted to make sure a customer was getting that dream build they wanted. Thanks to his team over in Mt.Airy NC and the guys on install with Geronimo’s they came in like seasoned professionals do. They went to work and knocked this thing out the park. Tough work and they made it look easy. Left the job site like they found it. Clean and ready for you to make use of the new building immediately. I’ve posted a few pictures of the process. We built a 30×50 with wrap around lean to which came out to a 42×50 and 13 windows throughout. Nice wainscoting and trim package with insulation. Highly recommend doing business with NC Steel Buildings. Thanks Again my building is the talk of the farm. You guys keep doing what you’re doing.

Holy smokes. I’ve never seen anything get build so quick. 3 builders had our 24ftx40ft building completely installed in 10 hours. It looks beautiful. Nice work highly recommend. Thank you.

Had a great experience with NC Steel Buildings . The whole process with ordering through installation was fantastic. The crew that did the install were friendly and courteous. Very professional and did an amazing job. I definitely recommend this company. You won’t be disappointed.
