Metal Building Outlet

We spent over $250k with Metal Building Outlet for a major commercial building kit, only to have them turn around and act with shocking financial pettiness over a secondary accessory order. I paid them additional $57k for an insulation package. A few days later I requested to cancel the insulation because I couldn’t take delivery on it yet due to permit delays. MBO’s rep Brett told me it would be too expensive to cancel and MBO intentionally sat on my $57k for two full years, benefiting from its cash-flow liquidity, while refusing a full refund. My order was NEVER cut, laminated, or shipped. The 120 massive insulation rolls remain untouched, bulk raw inventory to this day. Yet MBO is still refusing a full refund and trying to force a lowball $20,000 settlement so they can pocket a predatory $37,000 middleman markup on a client with over $300k in business. What a disgraceful practice. I am still waiting on a resolution.
If you are looking for a transparent, honest partner for a large-scale project, stay far away from Metal Building Outlet. They will squeeze you for predatory fees the second your back is turned.

Working with Doug Chambers was great. Talking with him he explained the benefits of a steel building vs. Wood. He was right. He was very patient, we had to change the design a few times to comply with city code. I've had it for three years and enjoy everytime I step into my dream. It is solid, and extremely well insulated.
